Bio:

Dr. Fang Jin obtained her Ph.D. degree in the Department of Computer Science from Virginia Tech in 2016. She is an assistant professor in the Department of Statistics at GW. Her research has been focused on deep learning, machine learning, data mining, natural language processing, anomaly detection, and spatiotemporal data analysis. She has a great interest in public health, her work has been oriented to design machine learning algorithms to assist smart health and communities.
